◎简　　介

　　一向自编自导自演的冷面笑匠许冠文从本片开始接受别人的导演，走出他固定的表演模式，在片中扮演一名不受重用的警察队长朱古力（巧克力之意）。因为局长的女儿梅艳芳正好分派到他这一组工作，两人便成为针锋相对的冤家。

　　梅参加了香港小姐选举，并且成为大热门之一，更加强了她与许的矛盾。此时，他们在调查的一宗失踪案越滚越大，两名对头人只好放弃成见联手合作破案。本片以讽刺喜剧方式针贬香港社会的怪现状，逗趣效果颇佳，男女主角的对手戏也有不少看头，导演陈欣健则称职。
